Title X Resolution Introduced in House and Senate: Urge Your Members of Congress to Co-Sponsor!
06/29/2010 - On Thursday June 24th, Representative Judy Chu (D-CA) and Senator Jeff Merkley (D-OR) introduced a resolution (H. Res. 1476 and S. Res. 565, respectively) recognizing the achievements of the Title X family planning program. The resolution praises the Title X program and Title X providers for their contributions to low-income access to family planning. This legislation is an opportunity for members of Congress to demonstrate their support for the Title X program and its importance to the public health safety-net during the program's 40th anniversary year.
